What is kept
Checks you do not save are worked out for that page and not stored.
A Lift Book stores its name, the saved checks (numbers and the names you give them) and dates. It is opened by a private key held in your browser's cookie and in your link; the site stores only a one-way hash of that key, so we cannot look a book up for you.
Limits. To stop abuse, the site counts new books and open attempts per day against a salted hash of your network address; those counts are deleted after 3 days.
No adverts, no tracking scripts, no third-party requests, no email. The server's own access logs are kept by the host for routine operation. Nightly database backups on the server are kept for at most 14 days. When the site is updated, a copy of the database is also taken and kept off the server by the site's operator, WeldonPC, only so the site can be restored; it is not used for anything else.
